Journeys of Paul

From the Fray teamed up with Biblical Journeys to design another life-changing travel experience.  This time we’re following the Journeys of Paul across Greece and Rome.

We will explore multiple sites throughout Greece & Rome, pausing to reflect on their historical, archaeological, spiritual, and emotional significance:

  • Our tour guide will speak to the former—challenging you to engage your Mind.
  • I will address the latter—providing application for your Heart and your Soul.

There will be plenty of time to soak in everything Greece & Rome have to offer—appreciating the culture, photographing the countryside, and enjoying the cuisine.  Our days will have structure, but time is also reserved for rest and relaxation.

What Will We See?

We’re going to see a lot!  You can download the full itinerary, but here’s a sampling of the sites we’ll visit:

  • Rome & The Vatican: The Colesseum, Mamertine Prison (Paul’s imprisonment), Trajan’s Forum, Palantine Hill, the Vatican Archives, St. Peter’s Basillica, Sistine Chapel.
  • Thessaloniki: The White Tower, city acropolis, Mount Olympus, St. Demetrios’ Basillica, Greek Archaeological Museum.
  • Athens: Mars Hill, the Parthenon, Temple of Athena Nike, Museum of the Acropolis.
  • Also: Lydia’s baptistry, Philippian Jail, Ancient Corinth, Temple of Apollo, and many more!

Note: The Air Force views this trip as an official duty in my role as a military chaplain.  This trip does not generate any income for me.  The full amount you pay goes directly to funding the trip.  Any group subsidies and/or discounts (if applicable) would go directly back to the Travel Agency, creating the possibility for a modest refund to the individual traveler.
